Ok, so I'm thinking I might have been a little over-ambitious about being able to keep up and post ALL the deals I find. I missed some this week, and there were plenty more that I could have posted and could not find the time. So, while I am still learning that I am not super-Mom, I will do my best to give you the BEST deals I find.

I start homeschooling Griffin this year for preschool and am really looking forward to it! Plus, I am watching the cutest little 3 month old one or two days a week now. And we are going through our house, inside and out, for Spring cleaning in the Fall reorganizing and throwing out "stuff." Hopefully we will put our home on the market to sell in the next month or two. I know it's not the best time of year to list, but we aren't in any hurry to sell. We did finally decide that we need more room with 4 kids. But it will be hard to leave. This has been the best first home, and my babies nurseries are here! But, I'm hopeful that my sad sentiments will last only for the drive from this house to our "new," BIGGER home :)

KMART: Double Coupons Up to $2.00

So far I've made two trips both totaling $97 BEFORE coupons! I paid $25!!!!! I plan to start posting pics of my shopping items very soon.

Our KMart on Hwy 40 and 465 is running another Double Coupon Days Promotion beginning August 31, 2009 and running through September 8, 2009. Call your local KMart to find out if they, too, are running this sale. From the reports I'm hearing, this will likely be the last Double Coupon Event in 2009.

Many of the deals listed here are still available and Charlene has a huge deal matchup post here.
In addition, if you're planning to hit the deals, be sure print the coupons here for free items. Might as well make a great deal even better!

Here are the important things you need to know:

::Coupons up to $2 will be doubled. No overage will apply.
::You can only double up to 4 like coupons per transaction.
::You can only double 10 total coupons per trip.
::Internet coupons are accepted.
::Your total before coupons must be at least $25 in order for the computer to double your coupons.
::Sales tax will apply to your pre-coupon total.

Easy, Cheap Recipe! Italian Roast Wraps

I made this yesterday and DJ and I absolutely loved them! I used homemade tortillas which made them even better.

2 to 3 pounds of frozen roast (beef, deer, or lamb)
1/2 pouch Italian dressing mix (I used Good Seasons brand)
Whole wheat tortillas
Sour cream
Shredded Mozzarella cheese
Chopped fresh tomatoes

Place frozen roast in a crock pot. Sprinkle Italian dressing mix onto roast. Cook on low for 5 hours. Shred meat or slice thinly. Spoon meat onto a warm tortilla and top with tomatoes, cheese and sour cream. Wrap and eat!
